Cintia Muñoz Quiles
Ph.D. degree (2000) and Doctorate in Biology (2007) from the University of Valencia.
A post-doctoral researcher funded by the National Institutes of Health USA (NIH), in collaboration with the Department of Physiological Science, University of California, Los Angeles (2006-2008).
Master in Monitoring of National and International Clinical Trials (2012). A Researcher since 2013 at the AIV.
She is a collaborating researcher and principal investigator in multiple observational studies.
Since 2019, she has participated in the coordination of the IMI H2020 DRIVE project (influenza vaccine effectiveness in the European Union).
Alejandro Orrico Sánchez
PharmD, Coordinator of AIV of FISABIO.
He has a degree in Pharmacy (2009), a Master in Research and Rational Use of Medicine (2010), and a Ph.D. (cum laude) (2013) from the University of Valencia.
After a postdoctoral stay at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris (2014-2016), he joined AIV in 2016.
Since then, he has participated as a responsible pharmacist in more than 15 Clinical Trials. He has been an associate professor at the University of Valencia for 2 years.
He has extensive experience in epidemiological studies of unpreventable diseases, being the principal investigator of several international projects with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the European Commission. He has more than 20 scientific publications.
Experience in the supervision of doctoral theses and final year projects and the popularization of science.
Jaime Fons Martínez
Degree in Sociology and Business Administration, Master in Sociology and Anthropology of Public Policy, Master in Market Research and University Expert in Gender Violence and Project Management.
He has worked as a sociologist researching and developing strategies for health professionals to address gender violence, and as a professor at the Valencian School of Health Studies (EVES) and the University of Valencia on issues related to sociology, health, and gender.
He is currently the technical coordinator of the H2020 project "Improving guidelines for informed consent, including vulnerable populations, from a gender perspective" (i-CONSENT), and participates as an investigator in the IMI project «Trials @ home: Center of Excellence - Remote Decentralized Clinical Trials»
Vallivana Rodrigo Casares
Graduated in Biotechnology with a Master's Degree in Analytical Techniques of Clinical Laboratory, and a Master's Degree in Monitoring and Direction of Clinical Trials.
She currently has a scholarship subsidized by the National Youth Guarantee System and co-financed by the European Union within the Multiannual Financial Framework 2014-2020, through the European Social Fund (ESF), collaborating in the development of decentralized clinical trials.
She is part of the clinical trials and observational trials support group and the pharmacy team.
Antonio Carmona Serrano
Degree in Biotechnology (2013) and Master in Biomedical Biotechnology (2015) from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain), Ph.D. in Biomedicine from the University of Sheffield (the UK, 2019).
A Researcher in biomedicine with extensive international experience from the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. With an interest in the molecular mechanisms behind human diseases, as well as epidemiology.
His multidisciplinary training in Biomedicine has allowed him to participate in several international projects and to publish in different scientific journals of great impact.
He is currently the coordinator of the IMI H2020 DRIVE project (influenza vaccine effectiveness in the European Union) and researcher in the WHO project on the impact of vaccination in pregnant women (WHO GVS MCC).
Jorge Arasa Aparici
Licenciado en Farmacia (2010), Máster en Investigación y Uso Racional del Medicamento (2011) y Doctorado en Biomedicina y Farmacia (cum laude, 2014) por la Universidad de Valencia.
Investigador post-doctoral en el departamento de Pharmaceutical Immunology en Pharmaceutical Sciences Institute de la universidad ETH Zürich (2015-2019). Trayectoria investigadora centrada en el estudio de los mecanismos celulares y moleculares de la respuesta inmune y de la biología vascular (sistema linfático) -ambos constituyen las bases de la vacunación-, respaldada por numerosas publicaciones científicas.
Profesor de la Universidad Europea de Valencia desde el 2019 con experiencia internacional en supervisión de trabajos fin de Máster y proyectos de último año.
Desde el 2021, investigador en el AIV.
Alejandro García Andreu
Licenciado en Farmacia (2000), Máster en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (2003), Postgrado Farmacéutico Especialista en Ortopedia (2014), Máster Universitario en Formación del Profesorado de Educación Secundaria (2007) y Máster en Dirección y Monitorización en Ensayos Clínicos (2018).
Actualmente trabajando como coordinador de la Red de Vigilancia Hospitalaria de la Comunidad Valenciana para el Estudio de Influenza y Otros Virus Respiratorios (VAHNSI).
17 años de experiencia como farmacéutico adjunto en Oficina de Farmacia Comunitaria, trabajando posteriormente como coordinador en Ensayos Clínicos de Oncología (melanoma).
Lina Pérez Breva
Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Granada (2004). Specialist in Family and Community Medicine (MFYC) (2009). Doctor of Medicine from the Catholic University of Valencia (2017).
Currently, Clinical Coordinator and Head of Clinical Trials in the Vaccine Research Area of FISABIO.
After finishing the specialty in MFYC and working for a year as a Primary Care Team Physician, she joined the Vaccine Research Area in 2010 to start a team specialized in conducting clinical trials with vaccines in the adult population.
She has participated as a sub-investigator in more than 20 clinical trials with vaccines in both adult and pediatric populations.
She carried out a research stay from August 2014 to February 2016 at the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Columbia University Medical Center in New York, participating, among others, in vaccine safety studies of the CISA project (Clinical Immunization Safety Assessment) of the CDC.
She is currently a principal investigator in 3 clinical trials and one epidemiological study, a sub-investigator in 4 clinical trials, and an investigator in the IMI project "Trials@Home Center of Excellence - Remote Decentralized Clinical Trials."
Esther Soriano García
Diploma in Nursing and Master's Degree in Primary Care Research from the University Miguel Hernández of Elche and in Management and Monitoring of Clinical Trials from the University of Valencia.
She has ten years of experience coordinating clinical trials of different phases in both pediatrics and the adult population.
Currently, coordinator of the clinical trial Herpes Zóster 062, Herpes Zóster 049, and coordinator of the open part of the RSV PED-011 phase I study and the V114-025 pneumococcal study.

Eva Jara Castillejo
Diploma in Nursing and Higher Technician in Diagnostic Imaging.
She has 12 years of experience in clinical trial nursing and 10 years of experience coordinating clinical trials of different phases in both pediatrics and the adult population.
Currently, clinical trial coordinator RSV PED-002 (Phase I), RSV PED-011 (Phase I/II), Pneumococcus V114-025, Pneumococcus B7471013 collaborating in adult studies Herpes Zoster 062 and Herpes Zoster 049.
Marian Martín Navarro

She joined the Vaccine Research Area of FISABIO in September 2010, and since then, she has worked as CTA (Clinical Trial Assistant) in more than 30 clinical trials.
She specialized in aspects of cold chain logistics and clinical trial pharmacy.
Sole Muñoz Ramírez
Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Córdoba (2011).
Specialization in Equine Clinic in different European countries (France, Belgium, Italy, and the United Kingdom). Master in Monitoring and Management of Clinical Trials (2019).
Currently, coordinator of a pediatric clinical trial on viral interference between respiratory viruses: VIGIRA.

Edison Valenzuela Cumba
Graduate in Nursing and Master in Emergency Medicine.
Has work experience in the Emergency Medical Service and as a first aid instructor.
He has collaborated in the design of international projects for sustainable development at the Francisco Ferrer Lujan-Valencia University Institute of Social and Educational Research (2017).
Field researcher, he is part of the clinical trials research team of the Vaccine Research Area of FISABIO.
Currently, the coordinator of the epidemiological study to evaluate the disease burden of acute respiratory infection (ARTI) associated with the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in adults in community and long-term care centers. Always focused on promoting health education.
María Díaz López

Since 2019 she joined the AIV FISABIO team after working several years as a Primary Care Physician.

Ana Núñez Villén
Licenciada en Medicina en la Universidad de Valencia (2014) y Especialista en Medicina Familiar y Comunitaria (2019). Máster en Medicina de Urgencias y Emergencias (2019).
Experiencia laboral como médico de atención primaria tras finalizar la residencia de Medicina Familiar y Comunitaria.
Se incorpora en 2020 al equipo del AIV FISABIO colaborando como subinvestigadora en varios ensayos clínicos y estudios observacionales.
Juan José Carreras Martínez
Graduado en Farmacia, con Máster en Investigación y Uso Racional del Medicamento y doctorando en Biomedicina y Farmacia, en la Universitat de València.
Ha trabajado durante cuatro años en el Centro de Farmacovigilancia de la Comunidad Valenciana.
Actualmente es el Responsable de Farmacovigilancia en el Área de Investigación en Vacunas de FISABIO. Además, es Asesor Experto del Centro de Farmacovigilancia de la Comunidad Valenciana y Técnico del Sistema Español de Farmacovigilancia de Medicamentos de Uso Humano.

She is a researcher in the group of Psychological Development, Health and Society (PSDEHESO) of the University of Valencia. Currently, a biostatistician at the Department of Vaccine Research of FISABIO and coordinator and analyst of the Hospital Surveillance Network of the Valencian Community for the Study of Influenza and Other Respiratory Viruses (VAHNSI).

Valle Morales Cuenca
Graduate in Biotechnology from the Polytechnic University of Valencia with a Master's Degree in Molecular Biology Applied to Biotechnology Companies from the University of Granada.
She currently works as a manager of projects financed by the Horizon 2020, IMI, and the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2017-2020.
Júlia García Bayarri
Graduated in Journalism from the University Jaume I of Castellón and Master in Human Rights, Globalization and Democracy.
She has more than 5 years of experience in the field of communication, marketing, events, and public relations.
Currently responsible for the communication of the Fisabio Vaccine Area and several European projects.
